Nick Cannon ‘fell victim’ to ‘a little vagina’ after son’s death

Nick Cannon’s celibacy journey took a turn after his son Zen died in December 2021.

“I got depressed with the loss of my son,” the “Masked Singer” host, 41, said on Tuesday’s episode of the “Lip Service” podcast.

“The thing is, everybody saw I was so down,” he continued. “So everybody was like, ‘Let’s just give him a little vagina, and that’s gonna cure it all.” I fell victim to it because I was in a weak state.”

The “All That” alum admitted that he “started f–king like crazy … right before Christmas” despite his intentions to abstain from sex through “the top of the year.”

Cannon, who began pursuing celibacy in October 2021, said, “I was probably celibate for a month and a half strong. … I was trying to do it. … I was dealing with a lot.”

In addition to Zen, the former Nickelodeon star is the father of Moroccan twins and Monroe, 11, with ex-wife Mariah Carey, son Golden, 5, and daughter Powerful, 1, with Brittany Bell and twin sons Zion and Zillion, 11 months , with Abby De La Rosa.

Cannon’s timeline led podcast co-hosts Angela Yee, Stephanie Santiago and Gigi Maguire to predict that he will welcome babies in September and October of this year.

The actor is currently expecting baby No. 8, his first with model Bre Tiesi. On Friday, De La Rosa revealed that she has another baby on the way — but has yet to share the paternity of her upcoming arrival.

“IM PREGNANT,” the DJ, 31, captioned her Friday Instagram announcement. “Another set of twins?!”

When asked Tuesday whether he is expecting more than just Tiesi’s baby boy, Cannon played coy and did not confirm nor deny paternity of De La Rosa’s baby-to-be.

“Let’s just put it this way, the stork is on the way,” the “Drumline” star said, hinting at his plans to beat his own record for babies born in a year.

“If you thought it was a lot of kids last year…” he said before trailing off.

Cannon’s comments come one month after he went to a vasectomy consultation.

“I ain’t looking to populate the Earth completely,” the “Wild ‘N Out” host told E! News in May, joking that he was not “out here looking” for more children. “I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have.”
